Join us in celebrating Lafayette artist, Aimee David Cotter, for her first series showcase – all artwork will be on view from Thursday, September 2nd through Tuesday, November 2nd.  Enjoy dining with us while surrounded by Aimee’s modern interpretations of our lush Louisiana landscape. 

A lifelong painter, Aimee’s love affair with the brush began with her grandmother, Aline David, whose watercolor paintings graced the Café V walls for many years. Aimee and Aline painted alongside each other from the time she was a child – a pleasurable pursuit for the multi-generational duo, indeed. 

Aimee’s fresh and vibrant approach to the Louisiana landscape is at once classic and modern, drawing inspiration from the likes of Alexander John Drysdale, and Elmore Morgan Jr., – all paintings are available for purchase by contacting the artist directly.
